I’m Belinda, the artist behind ZMA Wedding Makeup… I’m thrilled you stopped by:)
From the first consultation to the final touch-ups after you’re dressed, I’m here to ensure you’re ready on time, beaming with confidence and timeless elegance that will keep you in love with your photos for years to come.
I’m happy to say I’ve had the honour of working with hundreds of brides, creating timeless, beautiful makeup that is natural to the eye and flawless on camera… feeling confident and in love with everything!
My approach is to design makeup that celebrates your own beauty, with radiant, expensive-looking skin, eyes that demand attention and subtle contouring with a touch of highlighted blush to ensure you glow in all the right places. Attention to detail is one of my superpowers, giving you a flawless expert touch that is polished, natural and stays beautifully in place through the happy tears and hot dancing.
My philosophy is simple – Natural and polished is beautiful. You will never feel overdone, cakey or heavily made up when in my expert hands. I listen intently to your ideas and preferences, with the goal of helping you feel effortlessly gorgeous, comfortable in your skin… the Hollywood version of your everyday self. (without the big caterpillar lashes!)
One of the great things about working with me is that I don’t use the same colours over and over again on each client (something you may notice on many IG pages) as my extensive training and creative intuition allows me to decode your personal style and tune in to your exact vision… giving you an incredible, tailored experience that suits any skin tone or age.
As your personal makeup artist, with 20 years in the wedding industry, I bring a unique mix of beauty experience to your day. Working in many areas of the makeup industry with a vast background in fashion and advertising makeup, my style moves fluidly between editorial and bridal glam. The experience of working with every type of photographer means your makeup will always photograph beautifully for your close-ups and in all types of light- indoors and out, flashlight, or in a magical sunset…
Travelling for work is one of my passions and will go wherever your destination wedding takes me. Originally from Adelaide, and a past hairdresser, I’ve spent most of my career in Melbourne, worked in New York for 6 years and have jet set around Europe working on photoshoots and runway shows in Paris, London, Milan, Hamburg, Ibiza, Tuscany and Maldives to name but a few. I proudly call the Sunny Coast home and love the relaxed beachy lifestyle and natural beauty:)
